Chapter 1 Over

And that concludes June: an unsuccessful first month. Oh well. Baby steps I suppose. Here's hoping July is more successful!

Magical Queue

Glady! Come on. Admit it, you give a small smile whenever you see him too.

Candid?

Candid doesn't really describe it. She held this face for a while. Impressive to say the least.

True Love

*Siiiigh* It just makes everything all better, doesn't it?

Phat Azz Wings

Need I say more?

City by the mighty, dirty river...

Another city shot courtesy of I-95. Not as glamorous as some cities but...*siiigh* it's home I suppose.

Moody

I think that this picture accurately depicts everything that this man, Shaka Moody, stands for...

Blackjack's the game...

I think I have a problem :[

Port-O Ritz

Would you believe this is really just a giant port-o-potty? If I had it my way, I'd pull up a damn bed and live there. Spotless I say! You could eat off those urinals.

"Okay! Okay! Okay! Okay! Whatever!"

Lauren here was trying to demonstrate that even with her hair all messed up and disheveled, it still looked better than a certain someone's hair. Score one for Lauren!

"Makin' a Plaid run."

Apparently this is the West Coast's answer to Wawa. It falls short by miles and miles. Even 7-Eleven is better than that garbage. And that's not saying much.

To Hell with Pink ELEPHANTS!

The pink hippo strikes again! This time on 16th and Market. If you catch the pink hippo in action, you get extra points!

House of Waffles

Mmmm. I loves my hash browns smothered and covered! I always leave Waffle House feeling satisfied. Except Ft. Lauderdale's. Heed this warning: avoid that Waffle House at all costs!

"It's Fun to Fly!"

"Walk left, stand right. This concept, for some people: unlearn-able."

A Lack of Easter Compassion

Apparently Hallmark thinks that this depiction of a poor bastard bunny trapped in a cage barely big enough for itself is a suitable Easter decoration. Yeah. Let's make an already depressing holiday which celebrates a man being nailed to a cross worse by adding the cruel image of a bunny trapped in a 1'x1' world.

Sugar High

Another food pic here! This one comes straight from South Street Diner in downtown Philly. Here we have some buttermilk pancakes with maple syrup AND chocolate syrup plus butter AND vanilla ice cream topped off with a kiss of powdered sugar. Dear sweet Jesus...those were some heavenly pancakes.

One Heart Attack Please!

Mmm. Truly a masterpiece from Pat's Steaks. Look how the Cheez Whiz just oozes off the roll. You can't buy happiness...but you can eat it!

Creamer vs. Creamer

Angie from Churchville, PA takes the parodic route with a clever take on "Kramer vs. Kramer".

I Aren't Legend

The Brooklyn Bridge; quite impressive. It's a shame it has to be destroyed by he army and Will Smith in a couple of years.

Main Street, USA

Needs no explanation! Except that I call it home.

SAK Deli

A small sign that a good friend is still there.

I Have Sentimental Yet Platonic Feelings for Lucy

The largest elephant in the world: an exciting sight, right? Yeah. It's not that amazing in person either. But there was nothing else to do on a Thursday afternoon.

Bambi's Last Days

The Enchanted Forest in Ellicott City, MD used to be a place where parents and children could go and live out the fairy tales they grew up with. Now apparently it's just a place where you can see over grown plant life and dead deer. Nature really did a number on this one. Poor guy  : (

PHL

Philly International at 3am is quite a serene sight. What's better is seeing the transformation from a desolate, uninhabited wasteland of terminals to a bustling mill of travelers and commuters.

Wawa

Is there a more beautiful sight than a Wawa at 6am?

RIP Snapple Apple

Anyone who knows me knows that I love the sweet, invigorating taste of Snapple Apple! Unfortunately, the other day when purchasing some, an innocent Snap Ap sacrificed its life so that I could enjoy its ilk. I'll never forget the guilt and pain I felt when I watched it shatter next to my foot. Thank you, Snapple Apple...where ever you are.
